13. Front Beach

Front Beach is located in the Southwest of Vung Tau city, also known as Tam Duong Beach -which means finding the sun. Actually, Front Beach is only “finding the sun” at dawn because at sunset, the sun shines brightly on the sea before diving deep into the other side of the ocean.

Front Beach is like an arc facing the mainland, the two arcs are the brother mountains Tuong Ky and Tao Phung. God has cleverly arranged and given Front Beach a rare and poetic magnificence. A city located by the sea, with the sea and mountains running side by side, embracing each other like that, there is no place more beautiful than this!

In the past, there were many coconut trees planted along the Front Beach, so this beach was also called Coconut Row Bay. Today there are still many coconuts, but in addition to coconuts, there are also terminalia trees and willows growing high and shady, so the old name has gradually faded. Under the cool bushes are rows of benches for visitors to enjoy the sea air in the most relaxing way.

Because of the beauty of Front Beach, the center of Vung Tau city was formed here in the past. Today, many new and modern hotels have sprung up; at night, the dazzling lights from Tran Phu and Quang Trung boulevards and thousands of lights radiating from hotels and shops sparkling in the sky have turned the Front Beach into a tourist center of the city.

Many large and small ships nearby contribute to the hustle and bustle and exhilaration of a tourist beach, as they relax after a long cruise on the ocean or prepare for a new ocean voyage.
