Export is an advantage of the province. In many recent years, the export turnover of Dak Lak Province is always ranked in the top provinces with relatively high export turnover nationwide of more than USD600 million/year, in 2014, the export turnover reaches USD629 million in which the export coffee output reaches, 227,366 million tons with the export turnover of USD481 million, accounting for more than 76% of the export turnover of the whole province, and contributing to 50% of total turnover of the province and creating jobs for more than 600,000 people, contributing to stabilize the living standards of the people in the province, especially in remote areas and ethnic groups. The export market is stable, the coffee of the province is exported to over 80 countries and territories worldwide and present in the big markets in the works with strict requirements for goods quality and food hygiene such as the United States, Japan, British, France, Germany, Switzerland etc. However, in 2014, the export coffee products are mainly in raw materials (accounting for 89%) and the effectiveness is not high, the percentage of the processed products for export is still limited, some export markets are not stable. The trade promotion and advertisement activities are concerned by the state organizations and enterprises but not yet effective due to lack of experience. The price of export coffee products of the province depends much on the coffee price variations in the world market.In order to increase the coffee export capacity in the international integration process, in the coming years, Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak province has set up the objectives for developing the coffee export activity of Dak Lak province such as: promoting the coffee export activity with sustainable growth rate, increasing the competitive capacity of the export coffee products of the province, reducing the export of raw, preliminarily-processed products and increasing the export of processed, finely-
