The preliminary round of the third Contest of Coffee Preparation shall take place on January 31th, 2015 in the Ho Chi Minh city and the final shall take place on March 11th, 2015 in the Buon Ma Thuot city. In particular, this contest shall have candidates from Southeast Asian countries attended. (This is the first year inviting foreign candidates to participate in the Contest).Professional preparation staff in the system of restaurants, hotels, resorts, cafes etc. is called as Barista (derived from the Italian). They are the most important people, but also the most quiet inside the bar for making coffee and other beverages to satisfy the needs of every customer.How about Vietnam Barista? You must be much harder, due to serve foreign tourists drinking coffee according to the style %u201cCoffee Machine%u201d such as Espresso, Cappuccino, Latte etc. and domestic customers drinking coffee according to the Vietnamese style [Phin coffee (Phin filter)]. That is the main content of the Contest.Hopefully, through this contest, Vietnam Barista will increase knowledge, develop their careers better in order to be able to work anywhere, whether in Vietnam or abroad.In addition, the people, who have attended the Contest (or not attend), are honored, implied as cultural ambassadors of Vietnam Coffee.
