5THE Vth BUON MA THUOT COFFEE FESTIVAL - 2015Dak Lak is a location closely linked with %u201cThe capital of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee%u201d of Vietnam. Buon Ma Thuot Coffee is the symbol for Viet Coffee brand with the sufficient factor to confirm the position in the international market which is well-known and loved by the people throughout the world to the drink named Buon Ma Thuot Coffee. Coffee trees were imported to Vietnam since the late 19th Century and planted for the first time in some Northern provinces. However, due to the %u201cgood match%u201d, coffee trees have good results in Highlands land in which Buon Ma Thuot Highland with special advantages in terms of natural conditions is the best place for the growth of coffee trees to create the high-quality coffee and special taste in comparing with the coffee trees planted in other places. Therefore, Buon Ma Thuot has become the %u201ccapital%u201d of coffee industry of Tay Nguyen in particular and Vietnam in general. The total turnover of export coffee of Vietnam ranks the second in the world (after Brazil), particularly Robusta coffee of Vietnam has the number 1 export turnover in the world. Coffee products of Vietnam are exported to about 80 countries and territories. According to the General Department of Statistics, up to 8/2014, the export coffee turnover of our country reaches 1.27 million tons with the value of USD2.62 billion, increasing 31.3% in terms of quality and 26.6% in terms of value comparing to the same period of 2013. This achievement is thanks to the efforts from many parties: farmers, enterprises and local governments of different levels.Directed by Dak Lak Province People%u2019s Committee, Department of Information and Communication of Dak Lak Province cooperate with Dai Viet Communications Corporation (DAVICOM) to prepare and publish the publication named %u201cThe Vth Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival - 2015%u201d. This publication is aiming at introducing and promoting the images and information about Vietnamese Coffee and Buon Ma Thuot Coffee, accordingly to honor the coffee planters, confirm the important role of Vietnamese Coffee in the World Coffee Industry.
